Course Content

Advanced Skincare for Non-Medical Aesthetic Therapies

• Understand the physiology of skin ageing.
• Conduct advanced skin assessments.
• Prepare and provide advanced skin assessments.

Provide Skin Peeling

• Know safety considerations for skin peel treatments.
• Understand the procedures for skin peel treatments.
• Relevant anatomy, physiology, and pathologies for skin peeling.
• Consult, plan, and prepare for treatments.
• Perform skin peel treatments.

Assessment

You will be assessed through internal and external examinations:

1. MCQ Theory Paper
2. Practical Examination (conducted by an ITEC Examiner)
3. 6 x Clinical Case Studies (completed at the Academy under supervision)
